Last year i bought the Jacobs ignition system for my civic. That thing didn't do shit!!!!
The great thing was they offered the 30 day money back guarantee, so i got my money back. And after all that advertisement about "more hp" and mpg. Such b.s. Of course i didn't get the "ice pack," but i am sure it is the same crap!

The crazy thing was that they blamed it all on my spark plugs. They were giving me the run-around telling me to try this brand then that brand. I'm sure they were just trying to get me to keep it for over a month. After a couple weeks i said screw it, threw it back in the box, and mailed it back to their asses. I wouldn't recommend you get it.

Save your cash for something that will help you... the Jacobs ignition (in any form) is not worth having for a forced induction car.

Speaking of suckers on EBAY, I was checking it out today and saw some moron trying to sell some sparkplugs from his Si. In his description he said something to the effect of, "these sparkplugs came out of my rare Civic Si. They're rare NGK R sparkplugs. I assume the 'R' means 'racing'" I thought to myself, "how stupid can you be?" And how much more stupid is the guy who placed the winning $15.00 bid?!?! I wish I could find the link for you to look at but I can't seem to find it now...you all would have gotten a good laugh out of it.

If you want to use an aftermarket Ignition go with the MSD. I plan on getting one, for when I go FI. The biggest reason, is I want to add a soft rev, rev-limiter. Bouncing of the factory rev limiter is a bad idea, when you are FI.
